About Me
I don't want to be anywhere else! |
In Regards To The English Profession:
There is nothing I would rather be doing as a profession. Teaching English is my passion and calling in life. I thrive on Shakespeare, Keats, Shelly, etc. I personally favor British Literature. My particular favorites are Macbeth, Beowulf, The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, and The Canterbury Tales. In Regards To Life: I believe that life is about passion and seizing every moment. I have found life most exciting in martial arts, swordsmanship, white water kayaking, and other outdoor sports. I also have an immense love for music and film--as the both have unique power to connect human beings to each other. I particularly enjoy backpacking in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania and fishing at Millvale Sportsmans Club in Wexford, PA. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, specifically the North Park/Wexford area, which has the best lake to run around in all of Pittsburgh. |
My Philosophy About Education:
Education is about fostering creativity, collaboration, and passion for content and the world around you. My job as an educator is to not only teach content, but to teach students that they have unique talents, views, and gifts that are worth sharing. Each student has something amazing they bring into the classroom and out into the world. I have a responsibility as an educator to foster and encourage those unique gifts. You are who you are and that's a great thing! Cheers! -Mr. Greene |
